Introduction to off-road driving skills
This foundation course will teach you the theory of tackling obstacles and plenty of opportunity to try it for yourself. You'll learn how to get the most out of your land rover or other 4x4 vehicles, and make progress safely in difficult conditions.
Intermediate
Our intermediate course provides a whole day of practical tips and valuable time behind the wheel. You'll leave knowing how to safely handle a land rover off-road, assess obstacles and make controlled progress.
Advanced
Only open to guests who have completed the intermediate course. Master the skills required to drive in the most challenging conditions including the techniques to get your through challenging situations.

Winching
A winch is an incredibly versatile tool, and in some terrains, essential to progress. Learn how to check, prepare, maintain and use your winch on this one day course.
Towing
If you use a 4x4 to tow trailers of any kind, Land Rover Experience can provide training tailored to your needs. From loading and legal issues to emergency stops and stability on the move, this course covers everything you need to know about towing.
GPS Navigation*
GPS is a valuable tool when travelling off the beaten track. Learn how to use hand held and vehicle mounted satellite navigation systems, and then put the theory to the test in an off-road navigation challenge.
Expedition Skills*
Fine tune your outdoor skills with our expedition courses. From survival and bush craft to first aid and vehicle maintenance in the field. These courses are only available at certain Land Rover Experience Centres, so get in touch and we'll talk through the options.
