Land Rover has long celebrated the spirit of adventure—not just on the road, but on horseback as well, which is why the legendary off-road performer is proud to support a legendary cross-country equestrian competition, where the world's finest riders also put horsepower to the ultimate test.

In keeping with a long tradition of supporting equestrian sports, Land Rover is pleased to be the new sponsor of the International Burghley Three Day Event. The event, which runs from September 1–4, 2005, represents one of England's most prestigious and rigorous cross-country equestrian courses, where the world's finest riders and horses come to compete.

Land Rover is sponsoring five obstacles throughout the cross-country course, and is supplying the event's medical and veterinary teams and officials with a fleet of vehicles. Slated to sponsor the event for the next three years, Land Rover looks forward to participating in one of the equestrian world's most challenging competitions.
