LAND ROVER DRIVING SCHOOLS
Land Rover has two permanent driving schools in North America – Fairmont Le Château Montebello in Quebec and The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.  The schools are North America's only manufacturer supported year-round off-road driving academies and are instructed by Land Rover certified driving instructors.  The driving schools are teamed with luxury resorts and offer participants the chance to drive a Range Rover, LR3 or Freelander on several acres of off-road terrain. 

All schools emphasize the environmentally responsible tenets of Tread Lightly!, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to safe, environmentally responsible use of four-wheel-drive vehicles.  The instruction, ranges from lessons in basic off-road driving to more challenging winching and vehicle recovery courses.  Classes are open to all insured drivers, not just Land Rover owners.

Designed for both the novice and the veteran off-road enthusiast, Land Rover Adventures is the experience of a lifetime.  The Land Rover Adventures program encompasses a series of off-road driving expeditions, which are held in exotic locations around the world.  From Colorado and Utah, to the United Kingdom and Namibia, the Land Rover Adventures program offers expeditions that cover all travel interests.

LAND ROVER TReK
Land Rover TReK is a semi-annual inter-retailer challenge.  It provides an opportunity for the staff of Land Rover's retail outlets to showcase their off-road skills, enthusiasm, product knowledge and sense of competition.  The TReK competition includes orienteering, rally navigation, mountain biking, canoeing and, of course, off-road driving events.

Team members drive specially outfitted Land Rover vehicles and compete head-to-head and against the clock in a number of physical challenges.  Land Rover TReK allows retail personnel to engage in friendly competition and helps to support their enthusiasm for off-road activities.  Through participation in the TReK competition, Land Rover retail personnel gain knowledge and appreciation for the brand, thereby benefiting Land Rover customers. 

Land Rover Eden Prairie of Eden Prairie, Minnesota won Land Rover TReK 2003, held at Forbes Trinchera Ranch in Colorado.  Following four successful TReK competitions in the U.S., Land Rover U.K. created Global TReK, which was held in South Africa in 2001.  Teams from eleven countries competed with then defending U.S. champions, Land Rover Greenville, coming in a respectable third place.
